What our client says:

As a novice to NVIVO, the whole package is a brilliant eyeopener. I found it is easy to categorized the theme. It is excellent, training was delivered in a clear hands on, concise and guided session.

Amri Liza, John Moores University

What our client says:

I found it all really useful. I am not a qualitative researcher but I supervise students who do some qualitative elements to their research and this will help me to better support my students.

Caryl Beynon, John Moores University

What our client says:

Very good- Elizabeth ensured we all began at an appropriate place - i.e. at the beginning. We were all new to Nvivo so it was important none of the basics were missed out. There was a good mixture of showing and then being able to prcatice with an excellent handbook to take away. The opportunity to work on our own data was helpful, it made the process of understanding Nvivo and how we could use it more relevant. I liked the course and would recommend this to colleagues.

Sue Watling, The University of Lincoln

What our client says

I found the training extremely useful and very timely for myself. The pace of the training was perfect neither too slow or too fast and the class size was perfect. The training booklet to accompany the training was great to have to make notes in and I particularly liked the way you asked us to bring in our own data as it was then that certain aspects of the training was really understood as you could relate it to your own work.

Kate Nolan, Researh Associate, Marie Curie Palliative Care Institute, Liverpool, June 2012

What our client says

I felt that the training was delivered in a very accessible manner, the days were structured well and I got a lot of 1:1 support. The material was well organised and very easy to understand. I enjoyed that you made the days more informal and fun and we were able to do things at our own pace. I feel that I learnt everything I hoped for and that the package is much more useful than I first thought. I didnt know anything before whereas I feel I have a good developing knowledge now. I particularly found the use of 'nodes' very good.

Elizabeth Walton, Top Croft, Aston.

What our clients say:

With no background knowledge of Nvivo and at the early stages of my PhD, I came to the training with some trepidation about the future direction of my research and concerns about how to manage large quantities of qualitative data. I left feeling excited about the project, motivated, and organised. I have a clear plan for the future of the research and I am confident that I can move through data collection, analysis and reporting with the support of the software. The training was in short excellent and made the whole thing feel so very easy. I am impressed with the software and its capabilities, but Elizabeth also provided advice about how such capabilities could be used effectively within the real life context of academic research. Absolutely invaluable. Thank you!

The BEST training I have received thus far into my PhD! Trainer was excellent, enthusiastic and caring, a very practical course; very helpful and inspiring. It has made the whole research process less daunting!

What our clients say

I contacted Elizabeth almost a year and a half after being on the introduction course to NVIVO 8. I had encountered a problem with auto coding which I couldn't solve myself and really needed some help. Elizabeth couldn't have been more helpful, she asked me to forward the document which contained the problem and called me to attempt to solve the issue over the phone. She also referred me to the helpdesk and offered to stay in touch until the problem was resolved. I would have no hesitation in contacting Elizabeth or the helpdesk again if I encounter another problem as I know I'll get the help I need.

What course participant says:

I was extremely satisfied with the training on 3rd,4th December. I feel confident that I will be able to produce useful data from my interviews. I had been quite anxious about the data analysis but after the two day course I am looking forward to starting to interrogate and interpret the data I have.

Julie Hall, December 2012, Sheffield Hallam University.

What participant says:

A very good training. I bought NVivo some time ago, I tried tutorials but none made it clear enough for me. Each tutorial provides fragments of information that I couldn't not bind them together. This course gave me a coherent picture of what the software can do. I will definitely use it in my projects.

Anca Bejenaru, December 2012, University of Sibiu

What a participant says:

I really enjoyed the training. I was impressed by how well you knew the software. I liked that you were very open for all kinds of questions. I was particularly impressed that there was time for you to help me with my own research project and setting up a draft coding framework. I think the size of the group(5) was perfect, small enough for us to receive 1-1 support on our individual projects. Thanks for your help.

Simon Milewski, December 2012, University of York
